About the Course
The Drawing and Painting Course at Levels Academy introduces students to various areas of art. During the course, students will learn the basic shapes of drawing, colors, their combinations, and technical skills. The course consists of 32 meetings, where at each meeting participants will discuss different topics and complete specific tasks, such as drawing mathematical figures, people, and animals. Children will develop their own style, be able to easily express their emotions, and create personal works for exhibition.
At the end of the academic year, students participate in a final exhibition of their works and receive an official certificate of completion.
The course aims to develop creative skills for children aged 5 to 8. After completing the training program, children will gain knowledge about various drawing techniques and styles, which will help them develop technical skills, convey their emotions and thoughts. The course includes both theoretical and practical parts.

The program runs for a full academic year, with 4 sessions per month.

Lessons are held once a week, each lasting 60 minutes.

Groups are organized according to both age and skill level, ensuring that students learn alongside peers with similar abilities and interests, while receiving guidance appropriate to their stage of artistic development.
Drawing courses are led by professional artists, who have participated in dozens of exhibitions in Georgia and abroad, and also have many years of experience in the field of drawing mentoring.

At the end of the course, students present their works in a public exhibition.

Semester I
Meeting 1: Welcome to the world of art!
What is art? Getting to know different types of art
Playing with colors: studying primary and secondary colors
Practical task: creating the desired picture and experimenting with mixing colors.
Meeting 2: Nature
Creating a picture of nature Drawing trees, flowers and the sun.
Meeting 3: Basics of drawing – figures and lines
How to draw with simple figures (circle, square, triangle)
Studying lines (wavy, zigzag, spiral, etc.)
Practical task: drawing a favorite animal or character using figures.
Meeting 4: Animals
Drawing simple animals.
Meeting 5: Sculpting with plasticine
Sculpting a small animal or object with plasticine.
Meeting 6: Watercolor painting
Proper use of the brush
Study of watercolor techniques (wet-on-wet, dry brush, splash technique)
Practical task: Painting the sky with watercolors
Meeting 7: Human figure
Rules for creating human figures. Drawing with simple figures.
Meeting 8: Collage and mixed materials
What is collage? Combining textures and images
Combining drawing, painting and paper art
Practical task: Creating a collage on the theme of nature.
Meeting 9: Transferring the received impressions to a sheet of paper
Showing an animation or children's film and transferring emotions to a sheet of paper in the form of a drawing.
Meeting 10: Realism
Learning realistic drawing in pencil and watercolor. Drawing realistic subjects (e.g. apple, flower, doll, etc.)
Meeting 11: Crafts - Paper Wonders!
Cutting, folding and shaping paper
Practical task: creating animals or masks from paper or for a thematic festive mood.
Meeting 12: New Year's drawing
New Year's still life/reference to a famous work/free work on a New Year's theme.
Meeting 13: Creating environmental landscapes
Creating an environmental space. Seasonal landscape.
Meeting 14: Clay and sculpture
What is sculpture? Study of 3D art
Clay shaping (rolling, pinching, modeling)
Practical task: creating a small animal or object from clay
Meeting 15: Historical and cultural characters
Introduction/drawing of historical and cultural characters.
Meeting 16: Printing and stamp art
Collage techniques and textures
Using various objects (leaves, clouds, bottle caps)
Practical task: creating your own application and using collage techniques.

Meeting 22: Sculpting with plasticine: Sculpting Easter items.

Meeting 24: Imaginary World – Creative Art.
Development of imagination and fantasy art Drawing a child's dream world (magical countries, space, fairy-tale creatures).
Meeting 25: Creating a group drawing on a large format Creating a common group work.
Meeting 26: My masterpiece – free creativity Choosing the child's favorite technique (drawing, painting, collage, sculpture).
Practical assignment: Creating your own "masterpiece" for the final exhibition of the course.
Meeting 27: Georgian artist Pirosmani:
Drawing in the style of artists.
Meeting 28: Pop art.
Students create a drawing, draw a character from a famous favorite book or cartoon in the style of pop art.
Meeting 29: Egyptian painting.
They get acquainted with the history, style and technique of Egyptian art.
Session 30: Portrait:
"My Portrait" students draw their own face, learning the basics of building a portrait.
Session 31: Drawing animals.
Drawing animals in different poses.
Session 32: Exhibition and awarding certificates
Exhibition of children's works.
Discussion of works and sharing of experiences
Awarding certificates and a fun final meeting.
