This program introduces children to the fundamentals of drawing and painting, from composition and perspective to color and style, while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Guided by experienced artists, students build strong technical skills and present their work at a final exhibition.

About the Course

The drawing and painting course at the Levels Academy offers students the opportunity to learn about all the components of drawing, such as composition, form, line, spatial-volumetric thinking, perspective, tonal solution, and manner of execution. In the form of a presentation, the teacher will introduce students to the meaning of each new topic, its origin, technique, famous artists and their works.

At the end of the academic year, students participate in a final exhibition of their works and receive an official certificate of completion.

Instruction is based on a step-by-step academic approach, complemented by creative projects.

Students work both on classical exercises (still life, portrait, landscape) and on independent, imaginative projects guided by professional artists.

Reference study of works by famous painters (e.g., Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, René Magritte, Salvador Dalí, Niko Pirosmani).

Integration of art history with practice, allowing students to understand the evolution of artistic styles while applying them in their own work.
The program runs for a full academic year, with 8 sessions per month.

Lessons are held twice a week, each lasting 90 minutes.
Groups are organized according to both age and skill level, ensuring that students learn alongside peers with similar abilities and interests, while receiving guidance appropriate to their stage of artistic development.
Drawing courses are led by professional artists, who have participated in dozens of exhibitions in Georgia and abroad, and also have many years of experience in the field of drawing mentoring.
At the end of the course, students present their works in a public exhibition.

Each participant receives a certificate of completion, recognizing their progress and artistic achievement.
Semester I

1. Introductory lesson Still life: We will discuss in depth the basic principles of colors, shapes and drawing.
2. Discovering a famous artist: Children draw individual works based on the works of Van Gogh.
3. My masterpiece: A free work, which can be a drawing, a work with mixed media or a collage.
4. Pop art: Students create a drawing of a famous favorite book or cartoon character in the style of pop art.
5. Portrait: “My portrait” students draw their own face, learning the basics of building a portrait.
6. New Year's drawing: A work made on a New Year's theme.
Semester II

7. Georgian Art: Introduction to the works, style and techniques of Pirosmani, Elene Akhvlediani and other famous Georgian artists. References.
8. Landscape: Outdoor lesson in nature. Students will work on the theme of autumn in the open air. They will paint a landscape, learn how to draw nature, trees and plants.
9. Imaginary World: Students create art through their imagination.
10. Painting Clay Pots: Students will learn how to paint individual clay works.
11. Egyptian Painting: They will get acquainted with the history, style and techniques of Egyptian art.
